What is React.js
React is a front-end technology, i.e. it is used to create the visible graphical part of a web solution. It is an extension (“framework”) or library of the Javascript programming language, which is a language for web browsers.
React was developed by Facebook and is the most used front-end solution today, it is mainly used for large portals or larger websites.
This technology allows to define individual graphic-functional components and then to assemble the web page into a well-thought-out whole. Repetitive components such as buttons or banners can be “cloned”. Define once, use many times.
When React.js is suitable
React is a suitable solution for larger projects – larger websites or portals with more functionality. For such projects, React provides – in the hands of experts – good speed of front-end development and flexible deployment of a large number of elements on a large number of subpages.
For smaller projects, React is an “unnecessarily large” solution – the cost and time required to install and set it up is not justified for a site with ten subpages and no special functionality, for example.
